Alexis had her first day of school on Thursday. She is already in first grade, that is just crazy to me. She was so excited to go and of coarse she loves it. She is so smart and was reading last year. All summer she practiced her reading and writing and during church she would actually write stories. She spells a lot of words wrong but it is really impressive to me that she sounds them out and writes them the way they sound. I am excited to see how much she learns this year. It is also really nice to have a routine to our lives again.

Holy cow, I can't believe that is the same baby girl I was holding 5 years ago. She's so grown up. What a beautiful girl, Time flies!
What?! First grade?! I guess I still think of her as little because she was the last time I saw her! haha Jayden misses kindergarten by a month this year...so he goes to preschool. I can't believe he'll be five in October! Alexis is beautiful! Just like her momma. :) Glad you have a blog Kai! And put more pics of your kiddos so we can see how big they all have gotten!
