The kids were able to keep with tradition and have an Easter Egg hunt in the snow and cold, =). The town put on a huge hunt with 9000 eggs and had prizes and games also. It was lots of fun and the kids really enjoyed it. The best part was since the residents there aren't used to snow, there weren't nearly as many people as there normally would be, so it wasn't too crowded.

Here are the kids Easter morning.

We also were able to see my aunt and uncle, a few of my cousins and their kids. I really wish that I could have seen the rest of my cousins, it has been so long, but that will have to wait for another time I guess. Ryan and Amber were so nice and put together a sand wash party for us, it was so fun, and a good chance to spend time together and catch up. Thanks again guys!! My kids absolutely loved playing with their second cousins, whom they have never met before. It is always so amazing to me how fast kids make friends with each other.

We went to see Indian ruins and Petroglyphs, it was pretty cool although I don't think it took very long before the kids were bored to death.

We also went through some old homes in Snowflake and those were really awesome. The house that I have a picture of is huge. It is 3 stories high and has 17 rooms in it. It had to have been over 4000 square feet if I were to make a guess. It was definitely well over twice the size of my house.

We went up to see the temple in snowflake, I don't know if you can tell in the picture, but it was blowing sooooo hard. Enough so that I was actually pretty worried about having Mercedes out in it, even though it was just long enough to get a picture, she was having a pretty difficult time breathing. You can see my kids bracing themselves trying not get blown away, lol. But it was really pretty.

We also stopped in Flagstaff on our way there to eat lunch at Salsa Brava. We saw it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and so we had to stop. Kevin and I have spent many evenings watching that show and drooling over the food, wondering why we don't have anything that good around here, lol. It held true, it was really good food. I guess if we ever go back that way we will have to stop at Brandy's =).

Here are just some random pictures of us enjoying ourselves on vacation.
