Kevin's Present

Not to toot my own horn but I have completed my Master of Information Systems degree the last week of January and my wife held true to her word and let me purchase a beautiful motorcycle. It isn't the Harley that I originally was looking at but I have become sensible in my old age and went with a more economical bike that honestly will probably work out better for me in the long run. It is a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom and it is wonderful.

It is the first thing of the type I have ever purchased brand new and I don't regret it for a second (well, slight regret because I can't go over 60 mph for 1000 miles). Now all I need is someone (hint, hint to my wife or other kind person) to get me a Guardian Bell so that the road demons won't get me on my first trip. I would love it if I got one with the likeness of a goat (see Boar Goat) on it, that bell would protect against almost anything, even Llamas. Anyway, here are the pictures of the bike. I will add more when I get my bags and such.

Here is a random photo of Mercedes the most precious baby around. I love her to death.

Congratulations on graduating! I love the motorcycle. You guys will have to come ride with us. It is so much fun!!! You and Kile need to plan some motorcycle trips for this summer.

First off.. Congrats on graduating, that is the same degree my husband has as well.
Secondly.. My condolences to Kaiann with getting a motorcycle for Kevin. I hope you got a 1,000,000 life insurance policy on him when you bought it. J/K.. Not really.

Jason wants a bike again so bad, and that was my only way of being okay with one, I need a million dollar life insurance policy on him first.

Be careful, and have fun.

Kevin, I'm proud of you because I know how big of a tight wad you are. The bike looks sweet hopefully you can enjoy it sometime this year!
